[SINGAPORE] - 17/12/2024 - Cyberlite, an educational organization based in Singapore and India, has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of East Asia Pacific Affairs (EAP) to enhance cybersecurity awareness and skills among K-12 students in the East Asia and Pacific region.

The grant, part of EAP's initiative to strengthen digital and cyber capacity in the region, will fund a three-year program aimed at increasing exposure to cyber hygiene and cybersecurity best practices among young learners.

"As our world becomes increasingly digital, it's crucial that we equip young people with the knowledge and skills to navigate the online landscape safely," added Yao. "This grant will allow us to make a significant impact on cyber safety education in a region that's rapidly embracing digital technologies."

The program will target select countries in the East Asia and Pacific region, and preparations initiated last month.
