Singapore, July 17, 2026 - Cyberlite has been named a Digital for Life Champion, with the award presented by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

The Champion award recognises Cyberlite's significant contributions to the Digital for Life movement, and to advancing cyber wellness education for young people, families, and educators in Singapore.

Digital for Life is a national movement launched by IMDA in February 2021 to galvanise the community across the private, public and people sectors, so that no one is left behind in the digital age. It brings corporates, community organisations, government agencies and individuals together around digital inclusion, digital literacy and digital wellness, supported by the Digital for Life Fund, through which partner donations are matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government. President Tharman is Patron of the movement.

Cyberlite was founded in the same year the movement launched, with a focus on making online safety education practical and accessible in classrooms, at home, and in community spaces.

Since 2021, Cyberlite's programmes have reached over 100,000 students, teachers, and parents in Singapore alone, part of more than 725,000 people across 21 countries. Its Singapore work is delivered through the Internet Independent Framework, Cyberlite's K–12 curriculum covering Cyber Safety, Digital Wellbeing, and AI Safety for ages 7 to 17, and spans school workshops, parent engagement programmes, and public awareness roadshows supported by IMDA. This work is made possible with the support of corporate partners including Palo Alto Networks, UOB, and Microsoft.

The Champion award follows Cyberlite's Digital for Life Catalyst Award in 2024.

Cyberlite will continue to expand its Singapore programming for schools, families, and community organisations, alongside its regional work across Asia and the Pacific Islands.
