Singapore, July 12, 2024 - Cyberlite is proud to announce that we have been honoured with the prestigious Catalyst award by the IMDA for our significant contributions to the Digital for Life (DfL) movement.

The award ceremony took place on July 5, 2024 at the DfL Partners Appreciation event, where Minister Josephine Teo presented the award. The event was graced by the presence of President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who serves as the patron of the DfL movement.

In her opening remarks, Minister Josephine Teo highlighted the crucial role of the DfL movement in fostering a digitally inclusive society. She emphasised the need for collective efforts to empower Singaporeans with digital skills and resilience, ensuring that no one is left behind in our rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The Digital for Life movement, launched in 2021, aims to build a digitally inclusive society in Singapore, ensuring that all citizens have the opportunity to embrace digital technologies and thrive in the digital age. As Minister Teo emphasized in her speech, "The Digital for Life movement continues to grow from strength to strength and empower Singaporeans from all walks of life to thrive in a digital world."

The Catalyst Award recognises organisations that have made significant contributions and impact to the DfL movement. Cyberlite has been an active partner of DfL since its inception in 2021. Our dedication to promoting cyber wellness and digital literacy has reached over 103,000 Singaporeans, spanning children, teens, parents, and educators. We have consistently delivered educational programs and resources designed to enhance digital skills, promote responsible online behavior, and raise awareness about cyber wellness and online harms.
